We just mix well in the turkey bag before placing in the pot to cook. No
pouring hot water. I don't see any draw backs with the turkey bags. We are
also going to start using Frisbees in 1 gallon glad bags turned in side out.
Just lick the bags clean and use for the trash, no yum-yum bags. More time
for other things in camp. Use the water left in the pot to clean spoons and
large spoon. ??
