If the poles are the Voyagers I used the same ones last summer at Philmont.
I liked them very much except I would have liked if they had collapsed
smaller. We used them every night to help set up the dining fly and they helped with
my balance on some of the river crossings. They were also nice to lean on
during those short breaks on the trail.
