[Philmont]: Question about Philmont Cavalcade

Hello to All,
Our troop is going on a Philmont cavalcade (I think that's the name of the horse riding trek) this summer. Apparently only about 600 or so people opt for the Cavalcade each year, so there isn't exactly a wealth of information available with regard to other groups' experiences and what to bring. I joined the list to hopefully benefit from your collection knowledge and experience. Could any of you provide helpful info or websites that you would recommend?
