I'll agree with Doctor Bob on this one. We carried plenty of fuel in our
packs, but did resupply in the backcountry. We had no issues with the Philmont
fuel on our trek. However, if you have a real issue with fuel, a side hike, or
another crew should be able to resolve your problem.
