It was Durham School Services. A nationwide school bus contractor.

transportation contractor_ (http://www.durhamschoolservices.com/)
Given the web site details, you might look around for the nation's number 1
and 2 school bus transportation contractors too. I have no idea who they
might be.
We contacted their Woodland Park, Colorado, office and dealt directly with
them on all matters. We were very pleased with their services. Two other
crews from our area used Durham in 2003 and also experienced good service. Bus
was not air conditioned, but we opened the windows (except when it was
raining -- see below).
In 2003, they charged $35/hour for a standard school bus and driver. They
will provide you the details, terms, etc. They picked us up in Denver and
took us to our motel in Colorado Springs on a Saturday. We rented cars and did
our own sightseeing on Sunday. Durham returned to our motel Monday morning
(arrived a few minutes earlier than we had asked), picked us up and drove us
to Philmont in time for morning (approx. 10 AM) registration at base camp on
Monday. On the day of our return to Colorado, the bus arrived at Philmont at
5:30 AM (a full hour before we expected them). We hustled our gear and crew
together and on the bus and were in Denver for lunch with the driver before
she dropped us at the airport.
We had unexpected weather (heavy rain/thunderstorms) and traffic delays both
ways on the drive to/from Cimarron. However, for a crew of 11, we had
oodles of space on the bus for our crew and gear, we 2 advisors did not have to
drive, and the cost was less per person than any other option we found at the
time.
During the transportation planning phase of our trip we anticipated having
to have enough room for all our gear on the ground transportation phase of the
trip. In the end, we shipped our packs and stoves to Philmont, so had only
hand luggage on the outbound trip. On return, we did carry all internal
frame packs (no stoves); however, we shipped external frame packs from Cimarron
as we didn't want any possible hassle with airport security or baggage
handling.
Another thing we also liked was that Durham billed us. We did not have to
burn cash or credit card at the time of transport. They sent two separate
monthly bills to us in Georgia since our outbound drive was in July and our
return trip was in August. Bills came in August and September.

A while ago, someone posted info on a transportation company that had
School Buses for hire during the Summer. They had used the buses for
pre-Philmont travel, and I believe to get back to the airport as well.
Does anyone remember the Transportation Company's name?? I beleive it
was in the Colorado area.
