Re: [Philmont]: Eagle Scout Question

I've neither seen nor heard of any special cords for HS graduates who happened to be Eagle Scouts, and there's nothing in the new BSA distribution retail catalog.

With that said, and it's purely personal opinion, as proud as anyone is, and should be, about being an Eagle Scout, a high school graduation ceremony isn't the proper place to stand out and be different than the rest of the fellow graduates. There's plenty of other opportunites for wearing Eagle emblems, etc. A HS graduation just isn't one of them.

Besides.... what other "special" cord or adornment will be next? Leave graduation to what it was intended. A celebration of completing the requirements for high school.
