Just a follow up on last week's email. The CAC board followed though
with the dirty deed yesterday afternoon on the 148 anniversary of
Baden_Powell's birthday. The sale is contingent on the council getting
the zoning changed, which is not a given. But if it goes through, the
CAC may not have much if any of a camping program anymore and lots of
cash to spend, especially if you add the $18 million received for the
sale of its local camp, Hoover. I suspect that money will get funneled
into the Learning For Life program in the public schools.
Lot's of news at the OSA website at www.owasippe.com
