I have seen AA and D batteries. Rarely AAA and C, and (only) once some
123A's. If you need anything other than AA or D, you would be prudent
to bring your own.
Note that I usually install new batteries at Basecamp in our cameras and
flashlights, and that is usually adequate for a full trek. I cannot
speak to cell phones, GPS's, or other power-hungry beasts.
And to repeat a comment made on a related thread, no, you cannot
recharge anything at staff camps, even at those few (like Ponil) that
have utility power. So don't bring your rechargers on the trail, unless
you like carrying the extra weight and enjoy hearing the word "No"
everywhere you go.
