Like Dr. Bob indicated, AA's were common, but the other sizes are iffy.
I would not count on any of the coin batteries at all. Like most items
in the backcountry trading posts, it depends on demand and resupply
schedules. If you get there the day after the truck comes you may have
better luck than if you get there the day before the truck comes. But
if you put in new batteries before you leave basecamp, with careful,
conservative usage, you should make the whole trek. If you put in
lithium batteries, they are lighter and last longer, but cost more.
One of the things we did - we took two cameras that both used the same
battery. Then we took one spare. Also, if you get stuck, if you can
swap a battery from a device that works and possilby eek out a little
more useage. Not the best solution, but can be used in "have to"
situations. Also make sure they are the same type, i.e. both alkaline,
both lithium etc.
FWIW I don't know why they would stock "D" batteries unless its for the
backcountry staff. Anyone who would bring something that uses those,
would most likely also cart in a dozen spares, just in case. ;>\
