I just got back from SIA (Snowsports Industry Association) tradeshow and OR
(Outdoor Retailer) trade show. As I go through my info and let you know
about interesting and relevant information.
The first is a new helmet. As many of you know, I'm not a big helmet fan to
some extent. However Bern (www.bernunlimited.com) has a new helmet. Among
other things it is multi impact. The liner is not the Styrene/Styrofoam (I
don't know which in some cases.) which can only take one hit. One hit
helmets have a tendency to not show the damage, because the damage is
between the helmet exterior and the outside of the Sytrene/Styroforam.
Consequently, you do not know if you are using or renting a defective
helmet. Pretty interesting helmet that Bern says is for all sports, snow,
water, etc.
