[Philmont]: Burro Racing

 Our crew, 717E-5, has a lot of people who want to do Burro Racing and
selected other activities
And having experienced Burro Racing twice, I am heartily in favor of them
pursuing that program opportunity!

A lot of our preferences are met by treks that begin at Vaca (6, 22, 25)
then Deer Lake or Devil's Wash Basin
These would be the two nights with the ranger

The Philmont guides list Shotgun Shooting and Reloading at Harlan but do NOT
list Burro Racing
Anyone who has had one of these treks or another that began at Vaca -
Were you able to do Burro Racing??

I realize the racing is in the evening
(I am a veteran of two nights of Burro Racing - 1997 and 2004)
and so return might be in dark and therefore not allowed -
