One item that I don’t travel without when I am carrying my stoves is my
stove stand. They are back under the name MightlyLite Stove Stands. The
stands are lightweight and are designed so your MSR or Brunton Stove. The
stove slips/clips/snaps on to the base providing a platform for the stove.
It makes leveling the stove much easier as well as more stable. Some designs
also attaché the bottle to the same base.
I use these because it makes the stove stable. If you need to move the stove
you can lift up the stand and move everything. The heaviest one weights 4.3
ounces (3 designs). I don’t use my stoves without one. They only work for
stoves with external fuel bottles.
