Mr. Fisher,
I don't know how your going to do it, but you need to get the mom's out of the process. I think most mom's would faint if they new how difficult some of these 15 and 30 mile treks we do actually are. The irony is that this stuff is so much harder on us adults that it is on the kids, but the kids are what they are worried about.
I don't envy you having to deal with parents who have no understanding of the pleasure we all get out of very difficult, very challenging activities. I'm going to make sure parents not involved in the trek don't get invovled in the trek decisions.
