I used a pair of my son's track/running shoes without the cleats.
Extremely light with good support around camp.

Subject: [philmont] Croc's shoes for Philmont.
I was going to take Crocs but found a lighter camp shoe, recommended by
some AT hikers who are always looking for ways to cut ounces. It is a
water shoe sold at Wal-Mart for about $8. They lace-up for a secure fit
and weigh next to nothing.

I just wanted to suggest Croc's shoes for Philmont. They are
great for after a long day hiking and they weigh absolutely nothing. You
won't find a lighter pair of camp shoes around.
They just introduced an off-road model and a all terrain model.
Just wanted to know if anyone else used Croc's on the list.
