wrt Boot storage ....We keep our boots in the vestibules of our tents ...
neither boys, shoes or socks have been taken by critters ... this wiil, no
doubt, spur a debate of what goes inside the tents, what goes under the
tarp, what goes up in the bear bags ... etc ... so be it .. the list was
slowing down ...
wrt "as many as 20 boots walk off on their own each summer " so I know the
ranch loves statistics and counts everything, but this is a new one for me.
wrt "Why would you allow one of your crew to come to Philmont in old or worn
boots that would be prone to fail?" ... Can you control what 11 other people
do (or their parents)? ... I can't ...
