Hello all. I’ve got the late winter blahs, and
am in need of serious trail time. Spring break on some Arkansas trails
is only 2 weeks away!
I have a question for the group. Would you be
interested, and would you use a real, honest-to-goodness Philmont/other
high
adventure forum? I don’t mean a message list like this e-mail list
or the list provided on www.philmont.com.
I mean a real forum with topics, mods, and the rest.
The reason I ask is that I am being forced to change the web
hosting for our Troop and Crew sites from the free space provided with
my
internet account (thanks Time Warner L), and will
purchase enough storage and bandwidth if the potential use will be
there.
I’ve always wanted to start a real forum, but just haven’t had foot
applied to butt yet in order to get it done. This could also be a
conduit
to link the other sites/services that you all provide – philsearch, etc.
This would probably be at least a month or two away. I
am just looking for your thoughts and opinions. There are a few of you
out there that could blog for us on a weekly basis. I’d love that…
