All,
Well I know there has been several post to this one but I felt compelled to
share my experience. I have participated in 3 treks. Our last trek was this
past summer 7-21-N-2. We had rain 6 days and several days it would start
mid afternoon and rain till after midnight. On past trips we would have
afternoon shower and then things would dry out. Well our rain gear was very
important as we used it daily for several days. We looked for a day to "dry
out" So good quality rain gear provided warmth and dryness with a limited amout
of sun. So, I agree a good quality rain suit with jacket, pants, and hat,
even if you have a hood is a key.
