Just a reminder, my friends. Philmont does NOT issue tent pegs/pins with their tents. That is a crew responsibility. Crews are to provide 10 metal tent pins per crew member.

Yeah I know they cost about $1.50 each but we always have enough to take care of the main guy lines and then use the alum pegs that come with the tents. A secure tent is a pretty important thing on a dark and stormy night. We have used rocks to pound them in sometimes but they NEVER BEND. Love em. bought them for my tents at home also
