I agree that the No Bendium pegs work fine. I use them on my tents.
Titanium also work nicely, but the ounces you save come out of your wallet.
But if one of your crew members leaves a tent peg lying in the grass, I
would rather it be a $0.40 gutter nail than a $3.00 titanium stake or even a
$1.50 Kelty stake. I have found enough tent stakes in camps at Philmont to
know that it does happen.

I am always surprised that guys go on and on about metal gutter spikes and
all kinds of weird pegs to save some $. Our units have purchased the Kelty
No Bendium tent pegs. Yeah I know they cost about $1.50 each but we always
have enough to take care of the main guy lines and then use the alum pegs
that come with the tents. A secure tent is a pretty important thing on a
dark and stormy night. We have used rocks to pound them in sometimes but
they NEVER BEND. Love em. bought them for my tents at home also

Thought to ponder: When did "No problem" become the response to "Thank you"?
