A month or so ago there was at least one question from a new ranger about
what advice/suggestions the list members would share with him so as to prepare
himself....
Well, I have a scout who informed me about a month ago that he had also been
accepted as a Philranger.
I was wondering if the other new Ranger is still on this list...if so please
respond so I may put the two of you together....OFF LIST....that way you
won't need to wear a poncho or rain suit to get through the rest of the comments
on this list.

ps: I brought both a backpacking poncho and a rain suit to Philmont ...the
Appalachian Trail and about 500+ other miles of backpacking....
