Thanks Mike! Take no offense to Sara Lee poundcake and canned cherries, none intended
My point is that Ranger Cobbbler cooked in a dtuch oven at a trail camp is legions ahead of SLPC&CC.
Do your homework, find the recipe from old and learn how to make it. It's not that hard to make. Share that with others and you will become a legendary Ranger.
We went through so many years of fire bans in the past few years that the art was lost from not being passed down through the Ranger Corps.
It's kinda like the ranger song. Today it is a chant. Maybe that's OK by todays standards, but the Rangers of old had a better idea. They sang it.
Sorta like chanting the Star Spangled Banner. Somehow it just isn't the same.
Good luck on perfecting ranger cobbler. You will attract hordes of followers if you succeed.

PS The one advantage of Sara Lee cakes is they are mailable. Getting one in the mail is almost as good as homemade cookies from your special girl back home, almost!

Well there, if he doesn't show....I am here if you want to chat with a 08 Ranger.
Trust me, all your spying won't be lost if it helps making your crews better.
And I object to not liking pound cake and cherries. Nobody doesn't like Sara Lee
