Jim and all,
Please forgive my dear friend John. When he goes to Philmont he is very
prepared. He not only takes a Dutch Oven but carries a backup DO in
case the first cracks. Of course he travels with Me and SM Gray where
we move from camp to camp via Suburban. And yes, he does carry a
Coleman Lantern.

But John gets to use a slightly a different mode of transportation than
most rangers who would have a bit more trouble packing around a pair of
DO's for a single night's meal.

For the record, I am willing to bet that John is a much better cook than
almost any of the rangers on staff. I say almost as I am always going
to exempt anyone holding the spice jar over my meal before it hits my
plate<grin>.

Mark
