Dr. Bob's advice to call the ranch is certainly appropriate, because you get
the straight skinny from the folks that matter.
I know that it does happen and I do remember seeing something in the TREKS
books. In the past, I believe that the procedure has been that each crew
needs to select the same five itineraries in the same order and send in
their selection cards together. It might not be a bad idea to note that you
would like to have the same itinerary for both crews.
But again a call the Philmont will get you the "official" answer.
