While Dr Bob and I are usually in sync I'll disagree.

There are specific instructions in the Treks package u will get in the next
couple of weeks as to how this is done, Basically both crews submit the same
top 5 and submit their selection cards together. Fran and Betty, as helpful
as they are don't need 100 phone calls on this topic.

Subject: [philmont] Requesting a trek for sister crews...

In 2005 our troop sent two crews on separate treks. The treks did cross
in the middle, and it was fun to trade stories.

For 2008, the scouts want both crews to do the same trek, as sister
crews. If both crews get their first choice, there is no problem.

Is there a way to indicate on the trek selection card that if one crew
gets second choice (or third choice) that the other crew would also like
the same corresponding choice?

It's not the end of the world if they wind up on separate treks, though.

Thanks,
Dave Smith
