Some of the above questions have already been answered. Once monies have been paid to Philmont, you can't get them back. My advice is to pay for the minimum crew size that Philmont requires even though you may have collected the full fee from all of your c
rew members and add the additional crew members at the time you're making the third and final payment. By then your crews members should know if they're going. You could then refund the Philmont fee even if you're holding them responsible for the balance
