A newer great resource to help plan treks is the CD "Philmont Interactive
Ranger" that is offered by the Tooth of Time Traders. It contains all the
information found in the TREKS planning book, and more, including great PHil
PHotos. Of course remember the caveat that some treks do change from
year-year so what you find on the CD and the final version sent to you
before your own trek may vary slightly, but the CD will help you get a good
feel for vertical and horizontal miles, and program offerings along the way.
