You are allowed a maximum of four adult advisors over the age of 21. With a
coed crew, you must have at least one male advisor and one female advisor
(both over 21). With an all-male crew (such as a troop), you are able to have
female advisors, as long as there are male advisors as well. As a Ranger, I
took out several crews that had two married couples serving as advisors. It
depends on how many adult slots you have in your crew - if you have only two,
then only one of those could be for a female as you would also need a male
advisor. With four adult slots, you would have a little more flexibility.
You may want to double-check with Philmont just to be on the safe side though.
