It depends on what your son applied for. Some contracts will go out as
early as November or December, but those are generally for returning
staffers. I'm assuming this would be your son's first year working at
Philmont, in which case you should hear something by the end of
Februrary at the latest. I'm sure they're very busy right now sorting
through all the applications and starting the decision-making process.
For more specific information, you can always call Philmont at
(505)376-2281 and ask to speak with either Betty Brown or Dick Mahalik.
