No sir, I have not been "Stasis" for the last three years. I stand 100%
behind what I said and you are wrong to believe there are Co-Ed Venture
Crews. You illustrate perfectly the point I was trying to make.
*Venturing Crews* is the correct teminology for co-ed units of the teenage
variety within the BSA.
*Venture Crews* would be something made up of boys from a troop and *not*
the Venturing Program.
*Venturers* are what members of a Venturing Crew are called - not venture
scouts.
If you believe this is wrong, then I challenge you to read the BSA
literature, visit the official BSA web site http://www.bsa.scouting.org/ and
tell me where you find the terminology of Venture being appropriate to the
co-ed program.
And since this is really off-topic for a PHilmont discussion list, let's
take this discussion elsewhere - like maybe the Venturing list who is hosted
by the same kind folks who are hosting this PHilmont list. The Venturing
List can be subscribed to by sending an email to venturing_owner@troop47.com
