Those that are interested might try the IRS web site www.irs.ustreas.gov and
do a search on Publication 526 (I think that is the one that covers
charitable contributions). It will give you information on what is and what
isn't reasonably allowable as a deduction.
 
Just because you enjoy yourself doesn't mean you can't deduct it, but if
there is a "personal" element involved it becomes grey, rather than black
and white. And even if everything is proper and well documented doesn't
mean you won't get audited. It just means that if you do, you have a better
chance of the deduction being allowed.
