Back side of Baldy is very steep. I had a hard time going up and could not
step off to go back down. Had to go around. Tooth is rough trail (tripped
and chipped my elbow), and has some considerable drop-offs. Never a real
concern for me though. Boys scare me with their lack of fear. Ranger MADE
me go out on Lover's Leap. Almost had to crawl (except that I couldn't)!
Much more scary.
