Besides Baldy and the Tooth of Time, there are several other places that I am
aware of on the ranch that have exposed dropoffs although they are not
necessarily on top of peaks. The trail into Beaubein from Phillips Junction,
Lovers' Leap, Window Rock, the trail from Fish Camp to Abreu, and some of the
trails around Urraca Mesa are a few that come quickly to mind.

Most of us probably don't think much about these spots other than an
opportunity to enjoy the scenery, but someone who is "not good in areas that
are too exposed" or experiences vertigo, etc. might be uncomfortable. Most of
the trails are wide enough that a person could keep to the uphill side and
still have plenty of room for a "buffer zone".

I also think that I would share my concern with the rest of the crew so that
they would take my feelings into consideration as we hike in these "exposed
areas".

Happy Trails,

Roy Fisher
