[Philmont]: coming off the trail

What is the procedure when someone – boy or adult – has to come off the
trail due to injury or illness? I guess there are a few different
scenarios – incident while hiking and can’t make it to next camp, injury or
illness at staffed camp, or same at unstaffed camp. If it’s a boy, how many
need to come off with him and can they rejoin the group later?
