[Philmont]: Re: : coming off the trail

First, please turn off the HTML copy of your mail.

We had a Scout get ill in 2000 at a staffed camp. I stayed with him in the
lodge until the truck came to pick him up. No one had to accompany him back
to base camp.

Getting back is not guaranteed. They will only bring him back to a staffed
camp where you are scheduled to spend the night, and then only if they
already have a vehicle going there on the right day, and only if there is
room. Our Scout was off the trail for three days.
