We stuff our REI Halfdomes all the time. The SPL shows the Scouts how to
stuff the tent body around the poles followed by the fly and the ground
sheet. this way the ground sheet comes out first followed by the fly which
can be held up to deflect rain and then the tent body and poles/stakes.
After a camping trip is over and the tent cleaned and dried. It is stuffed
again and kept this way since we do not have room to store our tents in mesh
bags the way I would prefer. We have used these about 10 times in two years
and have had no problem so far.
