Yes, that does make it a patch when its on Ebay :)
I have no problem with people buying or selling the arrowhead award, as long
as the people buying it don't think they can wear it.
When was the last time you heard a proud parent say "My son just got his
Eagle patch"?

Actually, I kinda like this distinction - and maybe this would make a
good concluding postscript on last year's lively debate on earning
Arrowhead Awards, where a number of folks suggested that paying the fee
and showing up was all that was required to get the "patch".
Course, only Philmont trekkers would appreciate the difference....
