I guess Dr. Bob and I are both "politically incorrect", as I have asked the
same thing when I see an Philmont arrowhead, jacket or belt. I have found
several adults and youth that did not "survive" a trek, but had the award.
"What was your favorite camp?" usually narrows things down rather quickly.
My father earned many arrowheads in his time, and a close friend of mine has
22 of them. My son wears his OA trail crew arrowhead award with pride. I
wear my Philmont belt every day. If you did not earn it, why on earth would
you want to wear it? Just my two cents worth......
