I used some small (business sized) cards that I got at my local
Bible store. I selected various passages and sayings. (Grant me the
serenity..., 23rd Psalm, this is a day that the Lord has made..., etc.)
I had some to use when we faced adversity and challenge. I used the one
that said "Lord there is nothing that is going to happen today that You
and I can't handle together" on the day that we had our longest hike -
Apache Springs to Clear Creek with a stop at Phillips Junction.
I let the crew chaplain pick out one every day to read. We then
left the cards on the checkout boards at the camps. Who knows maybe
somebody else might read them?
