IMO, whether the crew leader is related to the advisor(s) or not is not
an issue as long as the adults remembers why they are there and what
their role is, i.e. as advisors and to stay out unless asked for advise
or health & safety issues are involved.
Having said that, let me clarify by saying as long as the crew leader
was choosen by the crew for the skills and attitude they possess, not
because they are related to the advisor and thats what the advisor
wanted. In that latter case, you have a problem!
Happy Trails,
