The way I understand it the summer registration for 10day treks is still 1st
come 1st serve. You just have to reach a person in the 45 min time window.
If you have scouts who have not gotten to go to philmont and will be 18 by
the summer, tell them to apply for staff. There are ALWAYS open staff
positions. Summer school can wait.

That's less than encouraging news to those who want to reform the Summer
Trek process - "bonus points", the only "fairness" element in either the
Summer Trek or Calvacade process, has been eliminated?
