Just for variety and options are there alternatives both commercial and self
arranged that others have used or heard of? What side excursions and
layovers has anyone else tried on their way from the San Francisco Bay Area
to Philmont? Our troop contingent is registered to go in August.

Subject: (Philmont): Philmont Travel - Leading The Way Tours
With a bit of help, I managed to track down Christine Emrick who is heading
up Leading The Way Tours.
For those who have not been following the discussion, these people
specialize in getting crews from where they land to Philmont with overnight
accommodations, meals, and activities along the way.
Their website is still a week away but their phone is working. Christine can
be reached at 1-866-696-5703. The Email that she sent me also talks about
their ability to arrange air travel.
