What eats up the mosst time is not deciding which trek to pick as first
choice, second, etc, but getting into the swing of the process.

I'd start now with the youth and make a list of criteria and put that in
order from most desireable to least desireable.

After you have done that, picking out which trek the crew wants is easy.

What I'm trying to say is do your crew homework. That is time consuming if
done correctly.
