I am proud to announce the newest Eagle Scout from Troop 91 of Seven Oaks
Presbyterian Church, Columbia SC.
Chris Hilbish passed his Eagle Board of Review last night. Chris is 17,
and a member of Scouting since he joined in first grade as a Tiger Cub. He
has been very active, holding numerous leadership positions, attending
nearly every meetiong and campout in his Scouting career, and has been to
Philmont 2 times, in 2000 and 2002. He is a senior at Irmo High School and
is very active in the Air Force Junior ROTC there. He hopes to pursue a
career in Forestry.
His Eagle project was putting non-skid surfaces on wooden bridges in a
local State Park. The trail is frequently used by mountain bikers and
algae had made the surfaces treacherous, resulting in at least one major
injury/accident.

print them out and give them to Chris and put a copy in his Eagle scrapbook..
Oh, I forgot. He is my oldest son.
And I am VERY proud.
