Use the cream, NOT the ointment, use only when needed, use in
moderation, and use well before the afternoon cutoff for application of
topical smellables.

My personal experience is that "body" powders don't work very well, and
in some cases seem to make the problem worse instead of better. Not
sure why that is, except maybe you're asking too much of it - there's
quite a difference between staying comfortable at your desk versus
backpacking up The Wall. Maybe the powder is absorbing the salt and
body oils that your clothing would normally be wicking away from your skin.

FWIW, the only powder my Crews carry is for athlete's foot - and it has
thus far been my experience that if you arrive at the Ranch with
everyone fungus-free, you are unlikely to develop any cases while on the
trail. AF is something you want to take care off well before you step
on the plane - not on the trail.
