If the disappointment came as a result of the staff & programming at a camp,
then that is not something that one should base a future trek decision on,
because personnel at a camp are never the same. Chances are if a camp was
consistently disappointing and noted as such on the crew & advisor
evaluations turned in at the end of the trek, then there will be major
changes made in the staffing to hopefully improve the situation. One can
never predict from year-year where the 'dud' camp will be, and despite the
best efforts of Philmost Administration to avoid duds, they sometimes happen
anyway.
