Re: [Philmont]:  A Scout is Clean(2)

I've used powders as well, but mostly on my feet. Even the most careful applications of powders leaves a residue cloud that will also attract natives of all shapes and sizes. Simple rinsing with water, morning (bracing!) and evening (refreshing) is the best way to remain inoffensive and rash-free. As we've all been saying in one form or another, "A Scout is Clean" truly has merit!
