As others have said, "there are no bad treks at Philmont." Having said that,
we have had problems at several camps and with Environmental staff. All of
these problems were either addressed at the camp, or reported on the
follow-up questionnaire. In 5 treks there has NEVER been a repeat at a camp.
Although Cito was "bad" one year, it was fine the next, etc. If you have
problems on the trail, you have options. Pay attention and do what you have
to to take care of your crew. In short, we have not had any problems that
one would not expect in an endeavor of this size. Have fun and let the good
times roll!
