Hello

Here are my thoughts:

I believe all adults should have treking poles for hiking and creek
crossing. They are excellent. Lighter packs, tents, bags and stoves are
high priority. A digital camera is better than film since memory is much
lighter and can be removed without risk. I just got my first GPS unit,
Magellan Platinum for $244 plus shipping.
