A GREAT Philmont sunset photo of myself and my son was included in my
Christmas letter this year!!!
Right before dinner we had a DOWN POUR on Commanche Peak (on the way up and
over Mt. Phillips) The rain and thunder were RIGHT over us for about 45
minutes, lots of run off and flooded tents, and then the skies
cleared.........................
Some of the boys and myself walked a little north of the campground area to
a clearing in the trees, where the trail from cypher's mine comes
up.......and what a view. Could see east, north, and west..............and
a beautiful, colorful sky too !!!!
