Peter,
Thanks to you and other Scout leaders across this nation, many our "boy"
scouts now are leading and teaching other soldiers. These young men are applying
all of the skills they were given as part of their advancement. The Lt's self
sacrifice shows alot about his character. It sounds like "brotherhood of
friendly service" and doing a good turn daily means something to this young man.
What would happen to our armed services without trained leader?
We had to attend a funeral on December 31st for one of our scouts who was 21
years old. He served in the Army in Iraq. He left behind a young daughter,
and wife. Several of my scouts and friends are also now overseas.
Keep up the good work.
